          The goal of this event (and other planned events) is to reach out to our surrounding area by showing God’s love to them in a practical way and to “bump” them a little closer to Christ and his marvelous salvation.  Join us for our next Brown Bag “working meeting” December 6th.  Look for details in the bulletin.

        Saturday, October 24 & 25th, several members of the FBC Outreach Team and some church members met to make animal balloons for people visiting the 2009 Pet Fest Event in Old Town Spring.

       After a few instructional lessons  some of those who attended the outreach became mildly apt at creating a selection of animal balloons.  While members engaged in conversations with parents, children waited eagerly for their balloon animal.  Included with each balloon was an evangelistic tract geared towards either a boy, girl or family along with a small card to identify our church.

       With the event bathed in prayer we can only trust in the Lord for the increase to His kingdom.
